Kombinacija transporta robe i prevoza ljudi sve je ređa pojava u industriji. Ono što je još interesantnije je odluka Waberer-a prema kojoj će kompanija preuzeti vozni park od oko 170 autobusa.
Waberer's Group odlučila je kupiti 51 posto dionica mađarskog putničkog prijevoznika Pannon Busz-Rent. Ova kompanija se, između ostalog, bavi upravljanjem kompanijskim linijama, povremenim iznajmljivanjem, te obezbjeđivanjem vozila koja zamjenjuju vozove. Sve to koristi spomenuti vozni park od 170 autobusa, koji ostvaruju godišnji promet od 4,4 milijarde forinti (oko 45 miliona PLN). Od toga je 500 miliona forinti (otprilike 5 miliona PLN) izdvojeno za neto dobit u 2023.
Prema sporazumu, preostalih 49 posto dionica Pannon Busz-Renta ostat će u rukama osnivača kompanije najmanje dvije godine. Tada može nastati situacija u kojoj Waberer's Group u potpunosti preuzme autobuskog operatera.
Odakle ideja za ovu transakciju? Waberer's Group objašnjava da kombinovanje transporta robe i prevoza ljudi može doneti nekoliko opipljivih koristi. To će, između ostalog, uključivati dobijanje još atraktivnijih ponuda pri odabiru nove opreme, mogućnost zajedničkog upravljanja tipičnim operativnim troškovima, kao i olakšavanje organizacije rada vozača omogućavajući im da ih prevezu do kamiona vlastitim autobusima.
